In 1988 three young college students met in Athens and discussed the most pressing issue of the day – where to find truly great pizza?
After much consideration the engineer said, “let’s build it”, the biologist said, “with the right ingredients”, the artist said “and make it look good” – and DePalma’s Athens was born!
Over the decades the kernel of our endeavor was expanded until it encompassed the fuller concept that currently exists. With three locations, thousands of friends and family and millions fed over the years DePalma’s Italian Café stands today, still evolving and growing organically – the rarest of the rare, a truly multi-generational restaurant, a living breathing part of the community.
